Watch Care and Guidelines Policy
1. Quality Assurance
At Lorinaté, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality vintage and pre-loved watches. Each watch undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure it is in working condition before it is listed on our website. This process includes a comprehensive check of the watch's functionality, including a detailed inspection by our professional licensed watchmaker who ensures the battery is either cleaned or replaced as needed.
In instances where a watch is not in working condition, this will be clearly stated in the product description. We encourage our customers to carefully review the description, condition, measurements, and pictures of each watch to ensure it meets their expectations and requirements.
Additionally, we perform a second round of inspection before shipping each watch. This final inspection includes a video recording of the process, which serves as a record for quality assurance and insurance purposes. This ensures that the watch remains in the condition promised at the time of purchase, upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Please note that while we carefully inspect each watch multiple times with our watchmakers and ourselves, we cannot guarantee the lifelong functionality of parts, movement, or other components, as all of our pieces are vintage or pre-loved and have their own unique history. We are not responsible for any damage caused by age.
2. Transit and Delivery
a. At Lorinaté, while we take every precaution to ensure that the watches, including their batteries, are securely packaged for transit, we cannot be responsible for the condition of the watch battery upon arrival. Factors such as mishandling, exposure to liquids, or temperature variations during shipping can affect battery performance, for which Lorinaté is not liable.
b. We encourage customers to inspect the overall condition of the watch immediately upon arrival. If you suspect that the watch has been compromised during transit, please report this to us within 48 hours of receipt. 3. Battery Life
a. The battery life of each vintage/pre-loved watch can vary. We cannot guarantee the longevity of the battery after the purchase.
b. To maintain the watch's longevity and functionality, it is advised to replace the battery once a year. Please note that battery replacement is the responsibility of the customer post-purchase.
4. Limitation of Liability
Lorinaté shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of, or in connection with, the use of our vintage watches. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data, whether in an action in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence), or otherwise.
5. Parts Replacement
Depending on the condition of the watch, some parts used for repairs may not be from the original manufacturer. This could include parts inside the case, glass, leather, movement, or clasp. Due to the age of our vintage watches, often over 20 years old, it is sometimes not feasible to use original manufacturer parts for repairs. However, we strive to maintain the original design as much as possible. Our focus is on maintaining the watch's functionality and ensuring its longevity, which sometimes necessitates using high-quality replacement parts that match or exceed the original specifications.
6. Handling and Care
Lorinaté is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use or care of the watches. We advise customers to handle their vintage watches with care, avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme conditions, and physical impacts that could damage the items. By purchasing a vintage/pre-owned watch from Lorinaté, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
