Warranty 

At Lorinaté, we stand behind the quality of every high-value timepiece we sell. Watches purchased for $4,000 USD or more include a 12-month limited movement warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

What’s Covered

Our warranty covers defects related to the internal movement that affect the normal operation of the watch under normal use. If your watch experiences a covered mechanical issue during the warranty period, our professional watchmakers will inspect and service it at no cost.

As all of our watches are vintage, some variation in daily timekeeping is considered normal and differs from modern watches. Acceptable performance will be determined based on the watch’s age, movement, and overall condition.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage or moisture intrusion.
  • Cosmetic wear, including scratches, dents, discoloration, or normal aging.
  • Crystal, case, bezel, crown, pushers, bracelet, clasp, leather strap, or other external components.
  • Damage caused by accidents, impact, misuse, improper handling, or neglect.
  • Any watch that has been opened, repaired, serviced, modified, or altered by anyone other than Lorinaté or our authorized watchmakers. Once the case has been opened by an unauthorized third party, this warranty is void.
  • Loss, theft, or normal wear and tear.


Water Resistance

Although some vintage watches were originally manufactured with water-resistant features, we do not recommend exposing any vintage watch to water. Due to the age of vintage timepieces, original water resistance can no longer be guaranteed. Any water-related damage is excluded from this warranty.

 

Warranty Service

If you believe your watch requires warranty service, please contact us at hello@lorinate.com before arranging any repairs. Warranty work must be authorized by Lorinaté. Repairs performed by a third party without our prior written approval are not eligible for reimbursement.

Each warranty claim will be evaluated individually by our watchmakers to determine whether the issue falls within the scope of this limited warranty.
